Roll-off dumpster rental in El Paso
Approx. 24 road miles from the yard, around 29 minutes.
El Paso is approx. 24 road miles north of the yard, around 29 minutes — same-day or next-day when availability allows; call early for the best chance of same-day. It is a city of 2,756 at the 2020 Census, in Woodford County; the Census also places a small, unpopulated part of the city in McLean County.
We found no City trash contract: the code refers to collection by a waste hauler on the designated collection day (§ 245-3B) and regulates garbage collectors. The City notes that US Route 24 (Main Street) and US Route 251 (North and South Fayette Street) are the responsibility of other government agencies. Remodels, roofs and clean-outs go out in roll-offs.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in El Paso
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- US 24 and US 251 — Main Street and Fayette Street, roads the City says other agencies are responsible for.
- Citywide Cleanup — Saturday, June 6, 2026, 8 a.m. to noon, at the El Paso Fire Protection District, 700 S Fayette St., for City residents only; no building material, tires or paint.
- Private haulers — the City's code regulates garbage collectors rather than running a City contract.
- City Hall — 125 W Front Street.
What comes out of El Paso properties
Garage clean-outs and flooring in 15s, roofing in 10s and 20s, remodels in 20s, estate clean-outs in 30s, commercial jobs and major demolition in 40s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete and dirt — heavy material usually only goes in the smaller boxes. The City's cleanup day says it isn't for disposing of trash and takes no building material. Illinois keeps some things out of landfills: TVs, computers, monitors, printers and other electronics (415 ILCS 151/1-83); lead-acid vehicle batteries (415 ILCS 5/22.23); tires, whole or cut (415 ILCS 5/55); refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water heaters and other large appliances unless their refrigerant and mercury parts have been removed (415 ILCS 5/22.28); and liquid used oil (415 ILCS 5/21.6). Landfills can't take landscape waste, and it can't be mixed with other waste headed for one (415 ILCS 5/22.22) — tell us if a load is yard waste, and before you load an appliance. No paint, solvents, oils, fuel, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks, gas cylinders, batteries, medical waste or asbestos.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in El Paso
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Yard Dumpster | about 14 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 3.5 ft high | about 3 pickup truck loads | 1–2 tons | Small kitchen and bathroom remodels, roof tear-offs, garage and single-room cleanouts, and concrete, tile, asphalt and brick within the weight limit. |
| 15 Yard Dumpster | about 16 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 4–5 pickup truck loads | 2–3 tons | Garage, attic and basement cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodels, flooring and carpet removal, light roofing, small decks and fences, and yard waste. |
| 20 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 6 pickup truck loads | 3–4 tons | Whole-home cleanouts, multi-room renovations, roofing projects, large landscaping jobs and light demolition with mixed debris. |
| 30 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 6 ft high | about 9 pickup truck loads | 4–5 tons | Multi-room and full-house renovations, estate and rental property cleanouts, retail and office remodels, light demolition and community cleanups. |
| 40 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 8 ft high | about 12 pickup truck loads | 5–6 tons | Commercial renovations, new builds and major demolition, full-home remodels, warehouse and office cleanouts, commercial roofing and large event cleanups. |
Permits, placement and who may haul in El Paso
Who may haul — the rule that matters: El Paso's code says no one may engage in the business of transporting garbage without a certificate of liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, and a hauler must give the Director of Public Service its name, address, vehicles, schedule, rates and insurance on request (§ 245-8); violations can cost the authority to operate as a garbage collector (§ 245-11). The chapter doesn't address construction debris or dumpsters, and we found no licence fee. We're licensed and insured.
In the street: obstructions are allowed only as authorized by ordinance, or by the Director of Public Service in an emergency or in connection with lawful construction, repair or removal work (§ 255-11), and barricades must be lit at night (§ 255-12). No permit fee is stated. A driveway is the simple spot — give us clear placement instructions and you don't need to be home for the drop-off.
State routes: IDOT requires a highway permit before any work in the right-of-way of an interstate, a US route, an Illinois route or another state-maintained road (605 ILCS 5/4-209, as IDOT cites it), and it has no dumpster or container permit type — so beside a state route the container goes on private property, never in the right-of-way. Not every stretch through a town is state-maintained, so we check the exact address.
Knocking something down: before a regulated asbestos demolition or renovation, Illinois EPA must get a notification form and a $150 fee 10 working days ahead. A privately owned house, or an apartment building of four or fewer units, is exempt unless it has had or will have a commercial or public use. Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if you find any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in El Paso
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the address, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
You get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, solid surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home.
Step 4: Load it at your pace
Keep it below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint and solvents, oil and fuel, chemicals, tires, batteries, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, TVs and computers, and fridges or other appliances still holding refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We haul it and dispose of it right
The load is tarped and goes to a permitted facility, with metal, concrete, asphalt and yard waste recycled whenever facilities accept them. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers
Dumpster rental in El Paso — common questions
Is El Paso same-day?
Same-day or next-day when availability allows — it is about 29 minutes from the yard. Call (309) 893-1463 early for the best chance.
Does El Paso have City trash pickup?
We found no City contract. The code refers to collection by private waste haulers and requires them to carry at least $1,000,000 in liability insurance (Sec. 245-8).
Can I take remodel debris to the citywide cleanup?
No. The June cleanup is for City residents only and takes no building material, tires or paint.
Can a dumpster go on Main Street in El Paso?
Main Street is US Route 24, which the City says another agency is responsible for. IDOT has no dumpster permit, so beside a state route the container goes on private property.
