Supporting local cleanups
We are proud to be part of the Bloomington-Normal community, and beyond delivering roll-off containers we care about keeping the McLean County towns we serve clean. Proper debris removal keeps streets, parks and job sites clean for everyone. When a neighborhood association, an HOA, a church, a school or a volunteer crew runs a cleanup day — a roadside cleanup, a park restoration — the hard part is always the pile at the end. A roll-off is often exactly what they need: a 30 yard handles the bulk waste from a community or HOA cleanup, and a 40 the staging, flooring and temporary structures from a large event.
One honest tip: some of it already has a home. Bloomington residents can take leaves, brush, grass, appliances and empty propane tanks to the City's Citizen Convenience Center at 402 S. East Street (closed January 1 to March 31). McLean County residents can drop TVs, computers, monitors and printers at the Town of Normal's self-service electronics recycling site at 1301 Warriner Street. Several villages run their own spring and fall cleanup days for residents. Check those first. And keep electronics, tires and car batteries out of a cleanup container — Illinois keeps them out of landfills. If your project is bigger than that, call us.
Working with local groups
Neighborhood associations, HOAs, churches, schools and local organizations — if your group is planning a cleanup, a community event or an improvement project and needs a container, call (309) 893-1463 or email info@bloomingtondumpsterrentalpros.com and tell us what you are doing. We serve Bloomington and Normal and the towns around them, including Towanda, Downs, Hudson, Heyworth, Le Roy, Lexington, Danvers, Gridley, Chenoa, El Paso, Clinton, Lincoln and Pontiac. Where a city wants a permit for a container in a street — in Bloomington, the Engineering Division's Dumpster Permit; in Normal, the Town's Dumpster/Storage Container Permit — we tell you what applies before the day.
We hire locally. A local company should mean local jobs.
Responsible disposal
Keeping the area clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. We are committed to keeping waste out of landfills wherever possible: we sort for recyclable materials and work with area facilities so metal, concrete, asphalt and yard waste go to recycling where facilities take them, and everything else to a permitted facility. Illinois keeps electronics, lead-acid batteries, tires, appliances with their refrigerant still in, yard waste mixed with trash and liquid used oil out of landfills, so they stay out of the box — and household chemicals, paint and gasoline go to a proper outlet, never the container.
